The method includes: detecting an audio playingevent of an application program, and obtaining an audio file corresponding to the audio playing event; acquiring a preset audio attribute of the application program; and judging whether the sound ofthe audio file is allowed to be played based on a pre-created audio playing class according to the preset audio attribute. In the technical scheme, when the audio playing event of the application program is detected, the decoded audio file is not written into the pre-created audio playing class temporarily; the audio file is written into the pre-created audio playing class only when the preset audio attribute of the application program is write-allowed, which can effectively manage the sound playing operation and avoid the situation that a background preload application program plays the soundto affect an application program displayed in a foreground.
