Abstract

The invention discloses an oral appliance comprising maxillary band rings, connecting members, a connecting rod and guiding plates, wherein the maxillary band rings are used for sleeving maxillary posterior molars, the connecting rod is used for connecting the maxillary band rings at the left and right sides, and the shape of the connecting rod is consistent with the shape of an maxillary dental arch; each connecting member comprises fixing columns, a connecting cross bar and fixing nuts, the fixing columns are fixed on the lingual side of the maxillary band rings, through holes matching the connecting cross bar is disposed on the fixing columns, and both ends of the connecting cross bar are provided with external threads matching the fixing nuts, and each guiding plate is provided with aconnecting hole matched with the connecting cross bar. The guiding plates are arranged on the oral appliance, buccal crossbite of the posterior molars of a patient can be corrected by the outward-pushaction of the guiding plates on the mandibular molars; the oral appliance does not need to use a planting nail and a rubber band for traction, is convenient for a doctor to operate, and improves thepatient's comfort to a certain extent degree; and the oral appliance is applied to the mild buccal crossbite of the posterior molars.
