The method comprises the steps of: acquiring three-dimensional point cloud data of obstacles around the vehicle collected by a laser radar, wherein the three-dimensional point cloud data comprises three-dimensional coordinates of the obstacles ina preset three-dimensional coordinate system; determining two-dimensional coordinates of the obstacles in a pre-established grid coordinate system according to three-dimensional coordinates in the three-dimensional point cloud data; marking the positions of the obstacles in the grid coordinate system according to the two-dimensional coordinates to obtain a grid map, wherein the grid map is used to indicate a relative position of the obstacles to the vehicle position; and controlling a central control display to display the grid map.
