Abstract

The present invention discloses a threshold value classification SLM method and system for reduction of an OFDM (orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) system peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR).The method comprises the steps of: generating a phase factor rotation sequence by employing two sets of different phase factor sets, performing weighted processing for a binary sequence after mappingand then performing inverse fast Fourier transform to generate two sets of original alternate signal sequences, performing sentence processing of the two sets of the original alternate signal sequences, adding the signal sequence with PAPR values in the two sets being larger than a threshold value and the signal sequence with the PAPR values in different sets being larger than the threshold valueand performing normalization processing to generate a new set of alternate signal sequence; and finally, selecting an alternate signal sequence with the minimum PAPR from the three sets of the alternate signal sequences for transmission. The threshold value classification SLM method and system for reduction of the OFDM system peak-to-average power ratio can obtain the PAPR performance similar to the original SLM method and can greatly reduce the calculation complexity so as to improve the performances of the OFDM system.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of digital communication, in particular to a threshold classification SLM method and system for reducing the peak-to-average power ratio of an OFDM system. Background technique [0002] Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) technology is a relatively special multi-carrier transmission technology, which can be regarded as either a modulation technology or a multiplexing technology. OFDM technology shows obvious advantages in anti-multipath fading, anti-narrowband interference multiple access, spectrum utilization and signal processing. At present, it has been widely used in many fields of wireless communication with its unique advantages, such as wireless local area network, digital audio and video broadcasting and asymmetric digital subscriber line standards and so on. The future mobile communication technology represented by 5G transmission technology is developing rapidly. In the research of i...
