[0024] Quantitative analysis of inclusion content in superalloy K4169 alloy ingot

[0025] 1) Electron beam remelted alloy ingot. Cut the superalloy ingot to be analyzed and clean it with alcohol solution. Using the electron beam remelting process, the inclusions in the alloy are floated up and gathered, and solidified to form a button ingot. The weight is 1312.15g.

[0026] 2) Clean surface carbides. Use nitric acid: water in which the concentration of nitric acid is 85%. The cleaning time is 30 minutes. When cleaning the alloy, pay attention to placing it in a glass container to clean the surface carbides. After cleaning the button ingot, use alcohol to clean it again and dry it. The weight is 1284.07g.

[0027] 3) Filter, dry and weigh. The corroded acid solution was filtered, and the filter paper had a pore size of 40 μm. The powder was dried and weighed, and the weight of the powder was 5.87 g.

[0028] 4) Corrosion of inclusions on the surface of the alloy. The ra...

Abstract

The invention belongs to the field of quantitative evaluation of inclusions, and relates to a method for quickly and quantitatively analyzing content of inclusions in high-temperature alloy. The method comprises the following steps of: firstly, using an electron beam melting method to collect the inclusions; chemically cleaning the carbides attached to the inclusions in the alloy to exposes the inclusions; dissolving the inclusions with a strong alkali; retaining the matrix; and calculating the content ratio of the inclusions. Compared with the traditional method for determining the content ofthe inclusions in the high-temperature alloy by electrolytically extracting and etching the matrix to retain the inclusions, the method for quickly and quantitatively analyzing the content of the inclusions in the high-temperature alloy can quickly determine; the quantitative evaluation time of each sample only takes 2 to 3 hours; the matrix of the alloy cannot be destroyed due to the corrosion of the strong alkali; the inclusion evaluation will be accurate only if the inclusions are corroded and dissolved, which is suitable for the engineering batch application.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of quantitative evaluation of inclusions, and relates to a method for rapidly quantitatively analyzing the content of inclusions in high-temperature alloys. technical background [0002] Superalloys are widely used in aerospace, chemical and automotive fields due to their excellent temperature resistance. Due to the relatively harsh environment, very high requirements are put forward for the high temperature strength and service life of superalloys. During the use of the alloy, the inclusions may become the source of cracks in the alloy, thereby affecting the mechanical properties of the alloy, so the content of inclusions in the superalloy must be strictly controlled. For how to measure the content of inclusions in superalloys, at present, the method of quantitative determination of vacuum induction remelting scum is generally used, but the accumulation of scum in the liquid state has a lot to do with the process, s...
