According to the banknote detecting method, the banknote detecting device, the financial equipment, and the computer readable storage medium, an automatic identification can be achieved effectively by using an amount of feature template data for the banknote detection; since an amount of feature template data can cover more dimensions of the banknote, a more accurate recognition is realized, thereby achieving the automatic maintenance and reducing the maintenance cost.
