Abstract

The invention discloses a network quality guarantee method of a wireless network. The method is applied to a wireless access point controller (AC), and comprises the steps of receiving a message sentby a network server according to a user request, and recognizing an application type of the message; packaging a recognition result into the message; and forwarding the message in which the recognition result is packaged to a wireless access point (AP) which sends the user request, thus allowing the AP to perform traffic control on the message according to the recognition result and an air interface utilization rate. According to the network quality guarantee method and device of the wireless network provided by the embodiment of the invention, on the AC side, the application type of the application message is recognized on the AC, and then the recognition result is transmitted to the AP by using a CAPWAP tunnel packaging header, the AP performs traffic control according to the recognitionresult in combination with the air interface utilization rate, the different services can be provided aiming at the different applications, and thus the network quality of the key application is guaranteed, and the office efficiency is improved.
