An ultra-wideband (UWB) wireless communication technology and a TD-TWR algorithm areadopted in the positioning system; eight UWB positioning anchor points are used as a reference; each anchor point adopts the TD-TWR algorithm to obtain a distance between each anchor point and each ofother anchor points; and after an original point and a baseline are determined, placement is carried out through a returned geometric relation between a distance measuring value and each anchor point. According to the method, the defects of long time and low precision of mechanical measurement during anchor point layout are overcome, so that the anchor points can be quickly and accurately laid inthe UWB indoor positioning system.
