Abstract

The invention relates to an abnormal delay reminding device for queuing traffic at a road intersection. The device is composed of an HC-SR04 ultrasonic ranging sensor, a single chip microcomputer 51Cprocessor, an LCD1602 display and a buzzer. The ultrasonic sensor is smoothly fixed to an appropriate position in the front of the vehicle body (near the headlights), and the MCU, display and buzzer are installed in proper positions in the cab. The ultrasonic sensor can measure the longitudinal distance between the vehicle and the preceding vehicle, transmit the signal to the single chip microcomputer 51C, and transmit the result to the LCD 1602 display after processing and calculation, and the display displays the distance in numerical form. If exceeding the limit, the buzzer sounds to alertthe driver. The device can automatically sense the longitudinal distance between the vehicle and the preceding vehicle, and automatically remind the driver in the rear vehicle if exceeding the limit,thereby reducing abnormal traffic delays, and improving the traffic efficiency at the road intersection.
