Abstract

The invention discloses a method for waking up network equipment. The method comprises the following steps: a WUR module receives a wakeup frame sent by an access point AP, wherein the wakeup frame comprises wakeup function information and communication function information; the WUR module generates a control instruction according to the wakeup frame, and the control instruction comprises wakeup function information and communication function information; and the WUR module sends the control instruction to a main receiving module. Through the method disclosed by the invention, the time for waking up the network equipment can be shortened, and the communication efficiency is improved.
