Abstract

The invention discloses novel device and method for monitoring pressure of an artificial airway gasbag. The novel device for monitoring pressure of the artificial airway gasbag comprises an application terminal and a PC control terminal. The application terminal is used for performing real-time monitoring on pressure of an artificial airway gasbag of a patient with intubation as well as carrying out automatic control, and then, sending out acousto-optic alarm when the pressure exceeds normal range; and the application terminal comprises a gasbag interface, an air pump, a pressure sensor, a solenoid valve, an AD chip, a single chip, a liquid crystal display, a key circuit, an acousto-optic alarm, a power module, an external power connector, a power switch, a 9V battery and an RS232 serial port. The PC control terminal realizes intelligent management on gasbag pressure data on basis of a personal terminal. The novel device and method for monitoring pressure of the artificial airway gasbag overcome the disadvantages of monitoring methods of existing artificial airway gasbag pressure gauges, and effectively achieve intelligent management on gasbag pressure, thereby reducing incidence of ventilator-associated pneumonia and decreasing damage on airway mucosa; and thus, the novel device and method are of great significance to mechanical ventilation treatment on patients.
