Abstract

The invention relates to a psoriasis treating Chinese herbal composition. The psoriasis treating Chinese herbal composition is prepared from raw herbs of coptis chinensis, curcuma zedoary, sculellariabarbata, hedyotis diffusa, codonopsis pilosula, astragalus, semen coicis, radix ophiopogonis, radix paeoniae alba, rhizome atractylodis macrocephalae and liquorice. Cytologic experimental results prove that the psoriasis treating Chinese herbal composition can effectively inhibit propagation of HaCaT (human keratinocytes) and induce apoptosis of the HaCaT; meanwhile, the psoriasis treating Chinese herbal composition can significantly reduce expression of CXCL1, CCL20, CXCL8, IL-6 and IL-18 in the HaCaT.
