Abstract

The invention relates to a method for picking pineapples. The method includes the following steps: the pineapples are identified, the locations of the pineapples are analyzed, wherein the locations ofthe pineapples comprise the horizontal locations and the vertical locations; the heading direction of a travelling device is controlled according to the horizontal locations of the pineapples, and aheight adjusting mechanism is controlled to adjust the height of an inference mechanism according to the vertical positions of the pineapples; when the pineapples reach designated stations of a picking machine, the pineapples are pushed by a swinging mechanism, and thus the pineapples are broken and separated from stems; the separated pineapples are lifted through a lifting device and transportedto a collecting device; when the collecting device collects a certain number of pineapples, a pull mechanism moves, and the pineapples in the collecting device are adjusted to be arranged in order; and when the collecting device is full, the pineapples are removed. According to the method for picking the pineapples, the pineapples are picked by breaking the stems of the pineapples to separate thepineapples from pineapple plants, and damage to seedlings is reduced in the picking process; and the processes of identification analysis, travelling, inference, lifting, and collection synchronouslyand continuously conduct, and the picking and collecting efficiency of the pineapples is greatly improved.
