Abstract

The invention discloses a system and method for detecting threatening vehicles. The method comprises the following steps of: providing a plurality of vehicle detectors which are arranged at intervals,and enabling each vehicle detector to obtian a traffic flow image; speculating an interaction relationship of a plurality of vehicles in the traffic flow images by a server according to a car following theory; and finding at least one separated vehicle from the plurality of vehicles to serve as a to-be-tracked focus vehicle, so as to judge whether the running behaviors of the focus vehicle fall into an abnormal behavior model or not, and then detect whether the focus vehicle is threatening or not.
