Abstract

The invention discloses a welding method and device for a full IBC (interdigitated back-contact) electrode cell and a cell. The cell comprises a negative electrode array and a positive electrode arraythat are arranged independently relative to each other. The method comprises steps of placing the cell into a cartridge of a fully automatic placement machine, moving the cell to the top of a cell module PCB by a suction nozzle on the automatic placement machine; attaching pads on the bottom of the cell to pads of the cell module PCB; and welding the attached cell and cell module PCB together. Since the negative electrode array and the positive electrode array are disposed independently relative to each other, the invention reduces precision requirement on welding equipment, effectively simplifies welding process, and avoids the problem that a solar cell unreliably is welded with pads on the PCB after oxidation of back of the solar cell due to contact with personnel, thus effectively reducing defect rate.
