Abstract

The invention discloses a method and system for online weighing of vehicles. The weighing method includes the following steps that: when a vehicle is stationary on a road having the slope, force analysis is performed on the vehicle and a rear wheel torque balance relationship, a front wheel torque balance relationship, and an overall vehicle torque balance relationship are established; when the vehicle is in a no-load state, a vehicle no-load center-of-mass position is determined based on the overall vehicle torque balance relationship; a vehicle no-load center-of-mass vertical position is determined based on the vehicle no-load center-of-mass position; a weighing linear model is determined based on the vehicle no-load center-of-mass position, the vehicle no-load center-of-mass vertical position, the rear wheel torque balance relationship, the front wheel torque balance relationship, and the overall vehicle torque balance relationship; parameter identification is carried out on the weighing linear model by using a least square method and the overall vehicle mass is determined. With the disclosed weighing method and system, the evaluation efficiency of the vehicle weighing system isimproved; and the weighing system can be widely applied to different types of vehicles.
