The method comprises the following steps of S1, casting a copper rod; S2, forming a trapezoidal copper bar blank through the copper rod by means of extrusion of an extrusion die, wherein the deformation amount of the copper bar blank is 28%-35%; S3, forming a copper bar transition product through the copper bar blank by means of once drawing of a drawing die, wherein the deformation amount of the copper bar transition product is 18%-23%; and S4, forming a copper bar finished product through the copper bar transition product by means of secondary drawing of the drawing die, and processing the copper bar finished product into the oxygen-free copper conducting bar, wherein the deformation amount of the copper bar finished product is 5%-8%. In the above machining process, the total deformation amount of the oxygen-free copper conducting bar is 50%-65%.
