Abstract

The invention discloses a method for determining the mercury content in hair by a DMA-80 direct mercury measuring instrument. The method comprises the following steps that (1) a sample is prepared bycutting and directly feed hair, or washing the hair with deionized water, immersing the hair by an organic solvent for 5-10min, air-drying the hair naturally, cutting the hair, and feeding the hair directly for analysis; and (2) the DMA-80 direct mercury measuring instrument is used for determination at the drying temperature of 50-100 DEG C and the decomposition range of 400-700 DEG C. Via the method of the invention, pretreatment including microwave digestion or wet digestion is not needed, mercury loss due to a pretreatment method is reduced, operation is simple, pollution is less, detection is rapid, and the accuracy and precision are higher.
