Abstract

The invention discloses a model test system and method for foundation pit construction stability research under influence of rainfall. The system comprises a foundation pit model system, a rainfall simulation system, a monitoring system and a BIM information management system, wherein the foundation pit model system comprises a test box, a foundation pit similar rock-soil layer, foam and a water accumulation box; the rainfall simulation system comprises a water tank, a water pump, a water guide pipe, a valve, a water flowmeter and a top water pipe; and the monitoring system comprises a micro accelerometer, a micro soil pressure meter, a strain gauge, a dial indicator, a high-speed camera and a full-automatic total station. The model test system and method can simulate models during foundation pit excavation under different rainfall amounts, simply and effectively monitor stability changes of a foundation pit and a side slope under the effect of rainfall, achieve dynamic measurement ofdata such as acceleration, soil pressure, strain and displacement of the foundation pit side slope and surrounding rock-soil bodies in the rainfall process, and provide a test basis and a research method for foundation pit stability evaluation in the foundation pit construction process under the effect of rainfall.
