Abstract

The invention provides a refrigerator. The refrigerator comprises a foaming layer, a sealing member, a first elastic member and an external force applying and releasing mechanism, wherein the foaminglayer is arranged between a refrigerating chamber and a freezing chamber, and the foaming layer is provided with a vent hole penetrating through the refrigerating chamber and the freezing chamber; thesealing member is movably arranged in the vent hole; the first elastic member is arranged to release the first elastic force when the sealing member is not subjected to an external force, so that thesealing member moves in the direction of the refrigerating chamber along the vent hole; and the external force applying and releasing mechanism is arranged to apply the external force to the sealingmember when a door body of the freezing chamber is closed to move the sealing member along the vent hole in the freezing chamber direction to an initial position and release the external force when the door body of the freezing chamber is opened to enable the sealing member to be in an unstressed state; and the sealing member is configured to allow air within the refrigerating chamber to flow through the vent hole to the freezing chamber when moving in the direction of the refrigerating chamber along the vent hole, and the vent hole is sealed when the sealing member is moved to the initial position.
