Abstract

The embodiment of the invention relates to a data backup and recovery method, electronic equipment and a computer readable storage medium. The data backup method comprises the steps that to-be-backed-up data and metadata describing the to-be-backed-up data are received, the to-be-backed-up data comprise files and directories, and the metadata comprise file data associated with the files and directory data associated with the directories; generating path data associated with both the file and the directory based on the file data and the directory data; and storing the file data, the directory data and the path data in association with the data to be backed up. Correspondingly, the data recovery method comprises the steps of receiving information of to-be-recovered data; in response to the information relating to the path, obtaining path data associated with both the file and the directory; based on the path data, determining metadata describing the to-be-recovered data; acquiring to-be-recovered data based on the metadata; and sending the to-be-recovered data to realize data recovery.
