Abstract

The invention relates to a vehicle seating assembly. For increasing functions of the vehicle, the vehicle seating assembly includes a swivel assembly coupled to a seat base and a rail bracket. The swivel assembly can be external to an impact load-path and include a ring gear and a spur gear. The swivel assembly provides an additional configuration possiblity and furthermore supplies the probability in a low-weight low-cost and effective-packaging mode.
