The novel agricultural handheld seeder comprises a bottom plate, side plates, a planting mechanism, a reset mechanism, a fixed handle and the like, wherein the side plates are symmetrically arranged on the left and right sides of the bottom plate; the planting mechanism is slidably arranged on the bottom plate; the reset mechanism is arranged on the upper portion of the bottom plate; and the fixed handle is arranged at the top end of the reset mechanism. Through cooperation of an upper disc and a lower disc, opening and closing of a throughpipe opening can be manually and freely controlled, and the phenomenon that seeds cannot fall off due to the fact that soil enters the through pipe and blocks the through pipe during sowing is avoided; and when people press down the fixed handle, a spring in the reset mechanism can enable other parts to reset freely, so that people can sow next time conveniently and quickly.
