Abstract

The invention discloses an anti-overturning reinforcing device for a single-column pier viaduct. The device comprises an original pile foundation, an original bearing platform, an original bridge pierand a bridge floor. A newly-built bearing platform is arranged on one side of the original bearing platform, a newly-built pile foundation is arranged below the newly-built bearing platform, a newly-built bridge pier is arranged on the newly-built bearing platform, and a top surface of the newly-built bridge pier makes contact with a bottom surface of one side of the bridge floor. The tops of thenewly-built bridge pier and the original bridge pier are connected with a horizontally-arranged steel beam, a fulcrum is arranged at the end of the other side of the steel beam, and the top surface of the fulcrum makes contact with the bottom surface of the other side of the bridge floor. When the bridge floor on one side of the newly-built bridge pier has an overturning trend, the newly-built bridge pier and the original bridge pier jointly support the bridge floor and bear vertically downward pressure; and when the bridge floor on the other side of the newly-built bridge pier has the overturning trend, the fulcrum on the steel beam and the original bridge pier jointly support the bridge floor, the original bridge pier is subjected to vertically downward pressure, and the newly-built bridge pier is subjected to a vertically upward pulling force. The device has a prevention effect on overturning of the bridge in two directions.
