Abstract

The invention provides a direct heating type heat pump water heater with adjustable concentration and a wide temperature zone and a working method thereof. The water heater includes a main circulationloop, an air supplement branch and a concentration adjustment branch. The main circulation loop is provided with a compressor, a condenser, a high-pressure liquid accumulator, a subcooler, an economizer, a first expansion valve and an evaporator which are sequentially connected. The air supplement branch is provided with a second expansion valve, an economizer and a stop valve which are connectedsequentially. The concentration adjustment branch is composed of a working medium supplementary expansion valve, a component separation and working medium storage tank, an air supplement concentration regulating valve and a liquid supplement concentration regulating valve. The air jet enthalpy increase and working medium concentration adjustment technologies are comprehensively adopted, the significant improvement in the low-temperature performance of the heat pump water heater, significant expansion of the applicable temperature zone, and significant improvement in the overall energy efficiency throughout the year are simultaneously achieved.
