The mine cable sheath comprises chloroprene rubber, a flame retardant, a rubber-plastic alloy, a reinforcing agent, asoftening agent, an anti-aging agent, a vulcanizing agent, a vulcanization accelerator, a coupling agent and a processing aid. The preparation method comprises the following steps of: adding the chloroprene rubber, rubber-plastic alloy, vulcanization accelerator, anti-aging agent, processing aid and pigment into mixing equipment, and controlling the temperature to be 45-55 DEG C for mixing the added materials; adding all the flame retardant and 1/2 of reinforcing agent, controlling the temperature to be 55-65 DEG C for performing mixing; adding all the softening agent and the rest 1/2 reinforcing agent, controlling the temperature to be 70-80 DEG C for performing mixing; adding all the vulcanizing agent and the coupling agent, and continuously performing mixing, discharging a product at the temperature of 80-85 DEG C; preparing the product into a rubber sheet at the temperature of 45-55 DEG C by using an open mill; extruding a vulcanized ore cable sheath finished product on a continuous vulcanization production line.
