Abstract

The invention provides a fresh air unit adopting an internal circulation mode and having low air resistance as well as a controlling method thereof. The fresh air unit comprises a shell and a fresh air blower; when the fresh air unit is in a fresh air mode, a fresh air inlet communicates with a fresh air port through a heat exchange mechanism, and an air return inlet is located in a closing state;and when the fresh air unit is in the internal circulation mode, the air return inlet communicates with an air return port, and the fresh air inlet is located in a closing state. According to the fresh air unit adopting the internal circulation mode and having the low air resistance as well as the controlling method thereof disclosed by the invention, the air return inlet is additionally formed in the fresh air blower and is used for leading returned air into the air return inlet, so that the problem that pressure drop and energy consumption are increased because the indoor returned air needsto pass through a resistance part in the prior art are effectively overcome; and meanwhile, due to arrangement of a communication channel, the air return port can directly communicate with the air return inlet and the heat exchange mechanism in the communication channel based on needs, so that a structure of the fresh air unit is effectively simplified.
