Abstract

When the ink container is connected to the main body of the apparatus, the connection mechanism of the ink flow path moves the first on-off valve through the sliding portion to communicate the ink flow path, and moves the sliding portion through the first main body portion to connect the air flow path and the ink flow path not connected. When the ink container is disconnected from the apparatus main body, the connection mechanism of the ink flow path reduces the contact pressure between the first main body portion and the sliding portion, and the second biasing member urges the sliding portion to connect the air flow path and the ink flow path.
