Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a relay UE reselection method and device, communication equipment and a storage medium. The relay UE reselection method comprises the steps that in response toconfiguration failure of a direct connection link SL between far-end UE and relay UE, the far-end UE reselects the relay UE based on a limited reselection condition; that is to say, the remote UE canreselect the relay UE according to the restricted reselection condition. Thus, compared with the method for reselecting the relay UE by adopting any mode (such as not according to the limited reselection condition), the method provided by the embodiment of the invention has the advantages that the probability of reselecting the relay UE with configuration failure before reselection can be greatlyreduced; therefore, the probability of connection failure of the direct connection link again is greatly reduced, namely, the connection success rate of the direct connection link between the remoteUE and the reselected relay UE is improved.
