Abstract

The invention relates to an oral irrigator and a water suction pump for the same. The water suction pump for the oral irrigator comprises a pump body and a piston assembly arranged in the pump body in the mode that the piston assembly can reciprocate. A containing cavity used for containing lubricating oil is formed between the inner side wall of the pump body and the piston assembly. An oil injection passageway which communicates with the containing cavity so as to inject the lubricating oil into the containing cavity is arranged on the side wall of the pump body. According to the water suction pump for the oral irrigator, the oil injection passageway is arranged on the side wall of the pump body, and therefor the lubricating oil can be injected into the containing cavity between the inner side wall of the pump body and the piston assembly within the set time, and the situation that due to the fact that a piston is abraded when the lubricating oil in the pump body is used up, the oral irrigator is inconvenient to use or scrapped is avoided.
