The refrigerator comprises a motor and a door body, the door opening and closing device comprises a driving structure which is in transmission connection with the motor, a middle transmission structure and a driven structure which is in transmission connection with the door body, the middle transmission structure comprises a slipping mechanism, when the door opening and closing device is in a working state, the driving structure is in transmission connection with the middle transmission structure, the middle transmission structure is further in transmission connection with the driven structure, the slipping mechanism is configured such that, in a working state, the driving structure transmits torque to the middle transmission structure, the middle transmission structure transmits the torque to the driven structure, and the slipping mechanism causes the middle transmission structure to limit transmission of torque from the driven structure to the driving structure. According to the door opening and closing device, when the door opening and closing device is in the working state, a user can achieve automatic door opening and closing through the motor and can further achieve manual door opening and closing with small force,and therefore the use experience of the user is improved; and when a door is manually closed, suction of a door seal can be better achieved, and the use experience of the user is improved.
