[0020] Describe the operation of the device with reference to the illustrations. The device includes four independent expandable air bags and the inflation tubes connected thereto. The air bag is successively a supporting balloon (1), a fixing balloon (2), a fixing balloon (3) and a compression balloon (4) from the distal end to the proximal section.

[0021] The supporting balloon (1) is elliptical in a filled state, conforming to the shape of the saddle bottom. The fixed balloons (2, 3) are respectively located on both sides of the supporting device, and are in the shape of "pin" with the supporting balloon (1), and placed on the anterior wall of the sphenoid sinus. The compression balloon (4) is cylindrical and fills the middle and upper nasal passages, compressing hemostasis and preventing the displacement of the support balloon (1); especially for patients with dysplasia of the sphenoid sinus, the fixed balloon (2, 3 ) cannot be opened, the compression balloon (4) has a...

Abstract

The invention belongs to the field of medical instruments, and particularly relates to a four-cavity balloon supporting device for a skull base repairing part after a transnasal skull base endoscopic surgery. The device comprises four independent telescopic air bags and inflation pipelines connected with the telescopic air bags, wherein the air bags comprise a supporting balloon, two fixation balloons and a compression balloon in sequence from the far end to the near end; under the direct view of an endoscope, 5-10 ml of gas is injected into the respective inflation pipelines through an injector, so that the corresponding balloons are expanded; and the specific situation is determined according to the filling degree of the balloons observed under the endoscope. The surface of each balloon is coated with nano-loaded antibiotics and an anti-adhesion material; and the tail end of each air passage is provided with a one-way valve, and when the device needs to be pulled out after an operation, the device can be pulled out simply by opening the valves through the injector and releasing gas in the corresponding balloon. The device has dual functions of skull base supporting and compression hemostasis, and an operator can fill one or more combined balloons according to own requirements and the gasification state of the nasal cavity and the paranasal sinus of a patient. The four-cavity balloon supporting device can effectively reduce the occurrence of postoperative cerebrospinal fluid leakage, intracranial infection and other complications.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of medical devices, and in particular relates to a four-cavity balloon support device for a skull base repair site after transnasal skull base endoscopic surgery. [0002] technical background [0003] 1. Transnasal skull base endoscopic surgery is becoming more and more popular. [0004] In recent years, with the rapid development of endoscopic technology and instruments, the application of skull base endoscopic surgery has become more and more extensive. Compared with microscopes, it has the advantages of clear vision, close observation and optic nerve protection. Therefore, endoscopic technology has been generally favored. From the initial endoscopic transnasal resection of pituitary tumors to the present, craniopharyngiomas and skull base meningiomas can be skillfully resected under transnasal endoscopy. In addition, more and more scholars try endoscopic clipping of aneurysms, resection of chordomas, intracrania...
