Embodiment Construction

[0013] Embodiments disclosed herein provide safety techniques for touched payment using non-contact cards. For example, when a merchant application executed on a computing device, the user can select one or more items to purchase. The user can then take their non-contact card light to the computing device, which can cause non-contact card to enter the communication range of the computing device. This will result in a non-contact card generation to be sent to the encrypted data of the computing device. The merchant application can receive encrypted data generated by the non-contact card and send the encrypted data to the authentication server for verification. The merchant application can further transmit an indication of the merchant identifier and / or transaction identifier of the encrypted data. Once verified, the authentication server can indicate that the virtual account server generates a card data for the account associated with the non-contact card. The card data can inclu...

Abstract

An authentication application may receive, from a merchant application of a client device, a merchant identifier, a transaction identifier of a transaction, encrypted data, and a location of the client device. The authentication application may decrypt the encrypted data based at least in part on a private key. The authentication application may determine that the contactless card has been used to make a previous purchase with the merchant and that the location of the client device is within a threshold distance of a known location associated with a contactless card. A virtual account number generator may generate a virtual account number and transmit the merchant identifier, the transaction identifier, the virtual account number, an expiration date, and a card verification value (CVV) to a merchant server associated with the merchant to process the transaction using the transaction identifier, the virtual account number, the expiration date, and the CVV.

Description

Technical field [0001] Embodiments of this article generally relate to computing platforms, and more particularly to a non-contact card light shot (TAP) to the computing device to perform a touch (One-TAP) payment. [0002] Related application [0003] The present application claims priority to U.S. Patent Application Serial No. 16 / 265,974, submitted in "One-Tap Payment US A Contactless", filed on February 1, 2019. The content of the above application is incorporated herein by reference. Background technique [0004] Users often use the online software platform to complete the transaction. Conventionally, the user must manually enter all relevant payment information to complete the transaction in the online software platform. However, the user will often be wrong when entering its payment information. In addition, sending payment information via user devices may cause security risks. Inventive content [0005] The embodiments disclosed herein provide systems, methods, articles...
