Abstract

The invention relates to a motor vehicle lock having a latch (5) and a pawl assembly (7) which is associated with the latch (5) and has at least one pawl (8), wherein: the pawl assembly (7), in a blocking state, blocks the lock latch (5) in a primary locking position and possibly a pre-locking position; a trigger section (9) formed of the pawl assembly (7) and a trigger assembly (10) is provided; the trigger assembly (10) is designed to actuate the pawl assembly (7), in particular to lift the pawl (8) out of the blocking state within the course of an opening process; and a draw-in assembly (11) comprising a coupling lever (12) that is pivotable into a coupling position for coupling to the lock latch (5) is provided to draw in the lock latch (5) in a closing process.
