Wherein the database system comprises a data service and an index service, and the data service and the index service are respectively used for storing and managing original data and index data of the database system. The method comprises the following steps: when an index data structure related to stock data is changed, reading the stock data from the data service; and reconstructing the index of the stock data in the index service according to the changed index data structure, wherein in the process of reconstructing the index of the stock data, the reconstruction progress of the index of the stock data is updated and controlled in real time. The invention further provides an index reconstruction device and equipment applied to the database system, a storage medium and a program product.
