Abstract

Disclosed herein are methods of network operation that may reduce congestion on a network. A network operation method may include communicating data between a network and a plurality of clients, and placing each of the plurality of clients in VoIP communication with the network. A network operation method may include a step of tagging data for each client to communicate with the network with a quality of service (QoS) level, and a step of setting the QoS level for each client. The network operation method may include a step of reducing network congestion by controlling the amount of data communicated with the network by each client.
