technical field [0001] The present invention relates to hair conditioning compositions comprising carboxylic acid / carboxylate copolymers and visible particles. Background of the invention [0002] The hair becomes soiled due to its contact with the surrounding environment and the sebum secreted by the scalp. Hair soiling gives hair a dirty and greasy feel and an unsightly appearance. The soiling of the hair necessitates regular shampooing. [0003] Shampooing cleanses the hair by removing excess dirt and sebum. However, shampooing leaves the hair in a wet, tangled and generally unmanageable condition. Once the hair dries, it leaves the hair in a dry, rough, dull or frizzy, frizzy condition due to the removal of the hair's natural oils and other natural conditioning and moisturizing ingredients.
