Abstract

The direct evaporation type energy accumulating heat pump air conditioner consists of outdoor unit comprising compressor, four-way valve, wind cooled heat radiator, high pressure liquid accumulator, mono-way valve, throttle mechanism, air / liquid separator, closed energy accumulator and coil heat exchanger; and air conditioner water loop comprising air conditioner end and water pump. Its outer ice-smelting energy accumulating tank has outlet connected dirctly with the air conditioner end and there is no need of refrigerator / water heat exchanger. There are five operation modes dependent on the state of the four-way valve and the water pump. The air conditioner is simple and compact in structure, low in cost, reliable and suitable for medium-sized and small energy accumulating central air conditioning system.
