Kernel Bus System to Build Virtual Machine Monitor and the Performance Service Framework and Method Therefor

Some embodiments concern a kernel bus system for building at least one virtual machine monitor. The kernel bus system is based on kernel-based virtual machine. The kernel bus system is configured to run on a host computer. The host computer comprising one or more processors, one or more hardware devices, and memory. The kernel bus system can include: (a) a hyperbus; (b) one or more user space components; (c) one or more guest space components configured to interact with the one or more user space components via the hyperbus; (d) one or more VMM components having one or more frontend devices configure to perform I / O operations with the one or more hardware devices of the host computer using a zero-copy method or non-pass-thru method; (e) one or more para-virtualization components having (1) a virtual interrupt configured to use one or more processor instructions to swap the one or more processors of the host computer between a kernel space and a guest space; and (2) a virtual I / O driver configured to enable synchronous I / O signaling, asynchronous I / O signaling and payload delivery, and pass-through delivery independent an QEMU emulation; and (f) one or more KVM components. The hyperbus, the one or more user space components, the one or more guest space components, the one or more VMM components, the one or more para-virtualization components, and the one or more KVM components are configured to run on the one or more processors of the host computer. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Catheter for introduction of medications to the tissues of a heart or other organ

This invention overcomes the disadvantages of the prior art by providing a positionable, direct-injection catheters that can access a specific region of the heart or other organ. The catheter is provided with one or two needle shafts, which may be located within respective sheaths that extend axially along the interior of the lumen of a main catheter shaft. Each needle shaft carries, at a distal end thereof a penetrable element or “needle” that is normally retracted within the distal tip of the main shaft during travel to the target organ, but is subsequently deployed by action of a handle-mounted trigger mechanism to extend the needles into the organ's wall. Each extended needle is curved to relative to the shaft's axis to enter the organ wall in a flattened trajectory that both reduces the chance of puncture through the wall and anchors the needles into the wall during injection (for reduced chance of pullout under pressure). A plurality of apertures which provide for more complete agent delivery rapidly, while maintaining a low delivery velocity to effect treatment delivery in as short a period of time as possible without the problems caused by high velocity delivery. The needles are typically arranged to exit the tip at contralateral orientations relative to each other

Dynamic information object cache approach useful in a vocabulary retrieval system

A concept cache useful in a vocabulary management system stores references to individual information objects that can be retrieved and dynamically assembled into electronic documents. Information objects are organized in one or more hierarchical trees, and references to nodes in the trees are cached. A query processor receives a cache query from a delivery engine that is attempting to dynamically construct an electronic document with content that matches the query. For example, a common Web site query contains a concept and an information type. The cache is searched to identify one or more rows that match the query concept and the query information type. An intersection of the rows is determined, yielding a result set of rows. Index pointers in the rows of the result set lead to stored information objects, which are passed to the delivery engine. The delivery engine assembles the electronic document using the information objects. Unlike past approaches that cache static pages, rapid delivery of dynamic pages is facilitated. Vocabularies and relationships are cached with their references to other objects, as needed, facilitating speed of execution of both the logic of constructing a document and in finding the appropriate cached version of an information object.

Graphene/MoS2 compound nano material lithium ion battery electrode and preparation method thereof

The invention discloses a graphene / molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) compound nano material lithium ion battery electrode and a preparation method thereof. The electrode comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 75 to 85 percent of compound nano material serving as an active substance, of a graphene nano slice and MoS2, and 5 to 10 percent of acetylene black and 10 percent of polyvinylidene fluoride; and the mass ratio of the graphene nano slice to the MoS2 nano material in the compound nano material active substance is (1 to 1)-(4 to 1). The preparation method of the electrode comprises the following steps of: preparing an oxidized graphite nano slice by using graphite as a raw material by a chemical oxidization method; synthesizing by a one-step hydrothermal in-situ reduction method in the presence of the oxidized graphite nano slice to obtain a graphene nano slice / MoS2 compound nano material; and finally, preparing the electrode by using the graphene nano slice / MoS2 compound nano material as the active substance. The electrode has high electrochemical lithium storage reversible capacity and cyclic stabilization performance, and can be widely applied to new generation lithium ion batteries.

Locker system and method adopting locker system for goods storage and pickup

The invention provides a locker system and a method adopting the locker system for goods storage and pickup. The locker system comprises a locker, an electronic coded lock, a control system, a system power supply, a high-definition monitoring system, a sensing system, a communication module and a user communication terminal, wherein the electronic coded lock is arranged on the locker; the control system controls the electronic coded lock; the high-definition monitoring system, the sensing system and the communication module are connected with the control system; and the user communication terminal is connected with the communication module through a communication network. During goods storage and pickup, a delivery man and a consignee can acquire use and pickup passwords of the locker through the user communication terminal, and storage and pickup operation can be finished according to prompts of the control system. In the process of goods storage and pickup, when the sensing system senses that a person is close to the locker for a certain distance, the sensing system informs the control system of starting the high-definition monitoring system to record a video, the video recording is finished after the person leaves for certain time, and the video file is stored, so that the safety and convenience of the delivery man and the consignee can be improved during goods storage and pickup.
