Embodiment Construction

[0027] A binding device according to the present invention will now be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0028] Referring to Figure 1 and figure 2 , which shows an embodiment of a strapping device according to the present invention. The strapping device in the illustrated embodiment is generally designated by reference numeral A, and it includes a body 1 and a strap box 3, which has a coil wound into a roll and drawably accommodated in the strap box 3. Therein is a continuous strapping strap 2 adapted to be strapped to an item or items to be strapped by co-working with a fastener 4 therein. The strapping 2 is made of flexible synthetic resin material and formed into a continuous elongated structure. Such as Figure 5A Shown in, a side central portion of the strapping 2 is provided with rack-like unevenness or unevenness 5 along its longitudinal direction. The fastener 4 is made of synthetic resin material, and as Figure 5A with 5B As sho...

Abstract

A binding apparatus capable of facilitating reliable tightening of a binding belt without directly touching the binding belt. The belt passage is formed with an opening through which the binding belt is exposed. A tightening lever is pivotally mounted on the body and includes a gear portion releasably engaged with the asperities of the binding belt exposed from the opening of the belt passage. A cutter cuts the binding belt while a foremost one of the fasteners holds a distal end of a portion of the binding belt wound around an article on one of the holding pawls of the fastener to bind the article with the portion of the binding belt.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a strapping device, and more particularly to a strapping device configured to wrap a continuous strap around an article or articles to be bundled and, by means of a fastener The strapping is tightened to bind the item(s) and the unnecessary portion of the strapping is separated from the item(s) by shearing. Background technique [0002] Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 3933 / 1992, 3934 / 1992, 3935 / 1992 and 3936 / 1992 all disclose a kind of binding device of this type. The disclosed strapping device includes: a body, which is provided with a belt channel, a continuous strap can be fed through the channel; a fastener channel, a large number of fasteners are accommodated in the tight within the firmware channel while they are in line with each other. In a strapping device of this construction, the foremost fastener among a large number of fasteners in the fastener channel is fed to the end of the belt channel while a ...
