Embodiment Construction

[0032] Preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings, wherein the same reference numerals represent the same elements. The description of the embodiments is for the purpose of illustrating the invention with reference to the drawings.

[0033] figure 1 is an exploded perspective view of a wall-mounted microwave oven with a hood according to a first embodiment of the present invention. like figure 1 As shown, the wall-mounted microwave oven includes a cabinet 10 that defines the appearance of the microwave oven. The cabinet 10 is divided into a cooking compartment 11 and a machine compartment 12 . A door 13 is installed at the open front of the cooking chamber 11 to open or close the cooking chamber 11 . Electronic equipment is installed in the machine room 12 , and they emit microwaves into the cooking chamber 11 to cook food placed in the cooking chamber 11 .

Abstract

A wall-mounted type microwave oven includes a cabinet and a hood having a guide duct. The guide duct is movably arranged in the hood, and automatically slides in and out the hood by an actuating unit of the microwave oven. A movable filter is set in the guide duct so as to be spaced apart from an inner surface of the guide duct by a predetermined interval. Where the guide duct is moved forward, exhaust gases generated therebelow pass through the movable filter, and the filtered gases are guided into the cabinet by the guide duct. The actuating unit includes a rotary member and a drive motor mounted on the hood. The rotary member is rotated by the drive motor to move the guide duct forward. The actuating unit further includes an elastic member which is connected, at an end thereof, to the hood and, at the other end thereof, to an inside end of the guide duct. The elastic member provides an elastic force to move the guide duct rearward.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a wall-mounted microwave oven, and more particularly to a wall-mounted microwave oven having a removable filter and conduit automatically and slidably mounted in a microwave oven hood. Background technique [0002] Typically, wall-mounted microwave ovens are installed on the wall above the gas cooktop in the kitchen. This microwave removes gas, smoke or food odors from gas cooktops out of the kitchen. Wall-mounted microwave ovens are also capable of using high-frequency electromagnetic waves to cook food placed in them. [0003] Gas cooktops cook food using heat from the combustion of combustible gas. In contrast, a microwave oven's magnetron generates high-frequency electromagnetic waves to cook food. Microwaves penetrate food placed in the cooking chamber of a microwave oven to repeatedly change the molecular arrangement of the water contained in the food, thereby creating frictional heat in the food to cook it. ...
