Abstract

A hub generator for bicycle that can be correctly grounded and supply electricity. A hub generator for bicycle includes a hub casing rotating along with the front wheel (4) and affixed with a magnet around an axle surrounded by a generating coil (21), where the rotation of the front wheel (4) would generate electricity. This invention is characterized in that: the power supply line (23) for supplying electricity generated by the generating coil and the grounding of the generating coil (21) serve as a power supply socket (18) provided outside of the hub casing (18). To supply electricity to the electrical components of the bicycle, the power supplying wire (26) and the grounding wire (26) are connected to the power supply socket (18) so as to supply electricity to the electrical components without damaging the bicycle frame while ensuring conduction of electricity.
