Embodiment Construction

[0091] The device 1 shown in FIGS. 1 to 4 comprises a container 2 containing a cosmetic product P, such as mascara, and an applicator 3 having a shaft 4 along a longitudinal axis X. As shown in FIG.

[0092] One end of the shaft 4 is provided with a support body 5 on which a plurality of applicator elements 6 are mounted, and the other end of the shaft 4 is connected with a sealing cap 7 which closes the container 2 and which also forms the handle pieces.

[0093] The sealing cap 7 has an internal thread (not visible) for screwing onto the neck 11 of the container 2, which is externally threaded.

[0094] In the described embodiment, the container 2 comprises a wiper 8 , which engages in a neck 11 , has a wiper lip 9 for wiping the stem 4 , and a support 5 with an applicator element 6 .

[0095] Where appropriate, the wiper 8 can be made deformable when the applicator 6 passes through it.

[0096] The wiper 8 can be produced by injection moulding, eg from polyolefin.
