Abstract

Belonging to IPTV technical area, the invention reduces influence on bandwidth of metropolitan area network (MAN) caused by communication between set-top box and server of electronic playbill, and raises number of serviceable set-top box. The invention discloses system for deploying server of electronic playbill. The system includes deployment server and server of electronic playbill connected through network. The invention also discloses method for establishing the system by using scheduling strategy. The system disclosed on the invention in use for operating the system includes steps: after set-top box initiates dispatching request to the deployment server, the deployment server appoints a server of electronic playbill for the request; interactive connection between the set-top box and the server of electronic playbill is established. Thus, data flux does not pass through MAN, so as to reduce influence on bandwidth of backbone network.
