Abstract

The invention concerns a network equipment dedicated to radio access networks, of different types and connected to a backbone network whereto is coupled at least one application equipment comprising at least one external application capable of exchanging data with at least one internal application implanted in multimode mobile terminals, further including at least two network interfaces capable of being connected to radio access networks. Said equipment comprises management means for transmitting to a designated terminal a control software module providing, once it has been implanted, a proxy function, interfacing between internal and external application for, upon reception from an internal application a transaction request designating an external application, determining among the network interfaces the one which is adapted to the transaction on the basis of control data and routing data, then for instructing the operating system of the terminal to transmit the transaction request to the designated external application via a transport level connection between the determined network interface and the application equipment containing the external application.
