This invention discloses an AI-based method for identifying and warning of abnormal behaviors in home-based
elderly care, relating to the field of intelligent
elderly care technology. It collects home activity data of
elderly people from the past week, preprocesses the data, and then uses a density clustering
algorithm to divide the preprocessed data into several home scenarios.
Feature extraction and analysis are performed on the preprocessed data in these scenarios to obtain a
scenario baseline dataset. A detailed analysis is then performed on the
scenario baseline dataset, setting multi-layered threshold indicators for multiple features in each home
scenario. The key technical points are: achieving comprehensive, accurate, personalized, and privacy-preserving identification of abnormal behaviors in home-based
elderly care, providing 24 / 7, non-intrusive, and highly reliable security for
elderly people living at home. It possesses high practicality and applicability, is adaptable to various home-based elderly care scenarios, and can be widely applied to home
safety monitoring for
elderly people living alone or in empty nests, showing promising application prospects.
