Apparatus, system, and method for managing quality-of-service-assured e-business service systems

One or more SLA-specified service-level monitors and/or one or more provider-owned service-level management monitors are used by the invention to monitor one or more quality measures of one or more QoS-assured service systems and to generate one or more service-level monitoring events when the monitored system does not conform to the respective quality measures. The invention includes a cross-SLA event manager that receives the monitoring events and determines which one or more SLA contracts are affected by the events. Then one or more SLA management objects (SMOs) track the SLA-specific events generated by the event manager according to each of the respective SLA contracts. The SMOs also determine how to allocate/deallocate/configure SLA management resources and/or to determine the effect of these changes on the service system operation to assure the contracted quality of service. A cross-SLA resource manager handles the SMOs' resource allocation requests and optimizes the allocation of available resources per the service provider's SLA management objectives. Finally, a SMO manager manages the execution of SMOs and facilitates the integration and management of service system testing-time and production-time activities.

System, computer program product, and method for enterprise modeling, temporal activity-based costing and utilization

A method of temporal, activity-based cost modeling for an organization is provided. The method includes the steps of (a) determining a plurality of data types contributing to costs related to one or more activities of the organization; (b) capturing data elements corresponding to the data types; (c) Creating an ontological enterprise model based on the data elements, by applying a Temporal Activity Based Costing Model to the organization; testing the applicability of the Temporal Activity Based Costing Model to the organization; and adjusting the Temporal Activity Based Costing Model to the organization, based on the testing; and (d) configuring a computer system to apply the ontological enterprise model to the data elements on an ongoing basis, such that the ontological enterprise model yields information about the costs of the activities for defined periods of time. The method enables derivation of cost knowledge from the cost information, by operation of a profit knowledge utility. A series of sub-methods are also provided to enable the application of the Temporal Activity Based Costing Model. A computer system and computer program is also provided for implementing the temporal, activity-based cost modeling of the invention for an organization. The invention also provided for temporal, activity based billing, and generation of real time temporal cost information.

The invention discloses a human body activity identification system and method based on a conditional variational auto-encoder, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining an original time sequence:obtaining sampling samples through a sensor, and enabling a plurality of sampling samples to form the original time sequence; constructing batch data: constructing the batch data in a data enhancement mode of a random sequence starting point to obtain constructed sensor batch data X and corresponding activity label batch data Y; training a condition variation auto-encoder model: inputting batch data into the model, and training the model through a loss function and a back propagation algorithm; predicting human body activities: inputting the sensor batch data X as test data into the trained variational auto-encoder model, and inputting the batch data into the variational auto-encoder model to obtain a final prediction activity tag. According to the method, one sampling sample is used as aunit to predict the corresponding activity label, the real-time activity recognition capability is achieved, modeling can be conducted on the correlation of similar samples, and therefore the recognition accuracy is improved.
