The flexible circuit board has terminals with a conductive property formed on a surface of a substrate portion and an insulator layer with an electrical insulation property formed to cover the terminals. The connector has connecting protrusions formed to individually correspond to a corresponding one of the terminals. During assembling the connector and the flexible circuit board, at least one of the connecting protrusions breaks and penetrates the insulation layer to come in contact with the corresponding one of the terminals and establishes an electrical connection between the connector and the flexible circuit board.
