This application relates to an integrated
optical module that implements APR (Automatic Presence) function, comprising: two
optical amplifier units connected by an
optical fiber link; each
optical amplifier unit includes: a first
optical amplifier for transmitting signals and a second optical
amplifier for receiving signals, and a control transmission module; the control transmission module is electrically connected to the first and second optical amplifiers, and is used to control the power of the first optical
amplifier and monitor the operating status of the second optical
amplifier; the control transmission module is connected to the
optical fiber link via a WDM coupler; and an MCU
control unit can control the OSC (Optical
System Control)
optical module to periodically transmit low-frequency signals or tuning signals to the
optical fiber link, so that when one of the optical
fiber paths is disconnected, the MCU
control unit can control the optical amplifier unit at the other end to switch the OSC
optical module from transmitting low-frequency signals to transmitting tuning signals and
fiber LOS (Loss of State) signals, and control the first optical amplifier connected to itself to
shut down, thus entering the APR process.
