An ice coating simulation method for a 220kV transmission line tower-coupling system is provided. The method comprises the following steps: (1) performing finite element modeling of an ice-covered transmission line tower-coupling system, including: modeling a tower by using a unit mirror command, modeling of an insulator and a split conductor spacer, and modeling of split sub-conductors and groundlines; (2) performing form-finding on the transmission line tower-coupling system; (3) calculating the ice-covered loads of the transmission line tower-coupling system; (4) calculating the ice-covered-wind loads of the transmission line tower-coupling system; and (5) performing response calculation and data extraction analysis under the ice coating. According to the method provided by the presentinvention, finite element modeling of the refined tower line is performed by using the unit mirror command, the modeling period is short, and the calculation efficiency is high; according to the actual arrangement manner of the split conductor, the coupling effect between the split sub-conductors is considered, and the model is more refined; and the analytical method and the finite element methodare combined to simulate the conductor, and the technical problems of finite element modeling and form-finding of the overhead line are solved.
